Tom Williams, husband of Hebron Area Ladies’ Missionary President, Bev Williams, and father of several TFC winners, is now in a fight against melanoma cancer just recently discovered.  There are three tumors in his chest area, and one the size of an egg is on his heart. One is on the pleura (lining of the lungs) and one is under the breast bone.  Surgery is scheduled for today to put in a pleura-x drainage tube so the area (pleura) around his lungs can be drained and Tom can breathe easier.   Treatment options are being weighed.  Pray for the family during these days.

Stephanie Matlock, pastor’s wife at Gospel of Christ Regular Baptist Church, East Cleveland.  Stephanie's father passed on August 21 of a ruptured brain aneurism.  Please be in prayer for her family, especially her unsaved brothers.

Missionary, Joan Stephens, with Baptist Mid-Missions’ Spanish literature outreach in Florida, is undergoing tests for pain in her former cancer area.  Doctors are fairly certain that the pain is not from a return of the cancer, but let’s keep Joan and Marv in our prayers.

Gary Rice, pastor at Faith Baptist, Lancaster, has suffered a recurrence of cancer of the esophagus.  Pray for the success of treatments and for strength for Gary and Marty, his wife.

David Hixson, pastor of Calvary Baptist, Sandusky.  David's 6 week check-up went well.  His first PSA test indicated levels were down below 0 - which is where they should be following successful surgery.  He will have PSA checked every three months for the next few years.  Dave’s wife, Faith, writes, “Thank you so much for your prayers and concern for us!”

Labor Day outreaches.  Pray for special opportunities to reach out to others over the Labor Day weekend.
